Brass: When selecting brass as the base metal of your coordinate bracelet, be aware that brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. Brass as a metal is durable and long-lasting and is used by many fashions and jewelry companies.

Sterling Silver: When selecting sterling silver as the base metal of your coordinate bracelet, be aware that Sterling silver is an alloy containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% of other metals normally copper. The silver is mixed with copper to give it strength while preserving the beauty of the precious metal.

14k Gold: When selecting 14K gold as the base metal of your bracelet, be aware that 14K Gold is an alloy containing 58% gold 42% of the alloy of other metals, including silver. Gold is also soft and needs other metals to maintain the integrity of the piece.

14k Rose Gold: When selecting sterling silver as the base metal of your bracelet, be aware that Sterling silver is an alloy containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% of other metals normally copper. The silver is mixed with copper to give it strength while preserving the beauty of the precious metal.

You are offered multiple finish options, including 18k gold plating, silver-plating, 14k rose gold plating, antique silver, and antique gold. You can choose to plate from overall base metal options, although we recommend letting solid 14k gold and 14k rose gold pieces speak for themselves.

Create A Unique Piece For Any Memorable Occasion

Step #1: Start By Picking A Style

All of the designs come in a ring and a bracelet. The styles are classic – design to withstand the test of time, like each and every special memory engraved on these pieces.

Step #2: Pick Your Metals

You are usually offered 12 different long-lasting finishes for your chosen coordinate bracelet or ring ranging from plated to 14K gold. With so many options, you’re bound to find the perfect finish for your precious memory.

Step #3: Pick Your Stone

You are offered a wide selection of certified colored crystals. You can choose to include a stone related to your birthday or a color that has personal meaning to you. Customize your piece so that it feels unique and special to you and your memory.

Step #4: Find Your Coordinates

Utilize a map to find your coordinates by simply inputting the city that has special meaning to you.

Step #5: Engrave Your Memory

Include an engraving to bring this wearable memory closer to your heart—additional descriptive copy about the number of characters, etc.

Craftsmanship

Each Coordinates collection piece is crafted by hand and fully inspected before shipping. The craftsmanship process ensures that each piece is given the time and attention deserved before it is delivered to you.

Once a piece has been designed and customized, and an order has been placed, the customer service agents review the order to ensure all elements are correct.

If they believe any part of the customization process has been overlooked, they will reach out to you to review and confirm the order.

The jeweler receives the design and begins creating the mold for your piece with your specific coordinates and engraving.

The piece is then polished in a multi-stage process to enhance its natural luster.

Once the metalwork is complete, stones are added to the piece. The jeweler uses hand-held tools to set the stones with precision.

Each piece is then finely inspected at the jeweler headquarters. If there are any perceived flaws, the design will be sent back to the jeweler to be created from the beginning again.

After a complete inspection, the piece is hand-packaged and shipped out to you.

Product Care Info

For the plated items, brass is used as the base metal. Brass is an alloy made of Copper and Zinc. The surface of plated jewelry is prone to becoming dull and possibly even tarnishing. In order to ensure the longevity of your coordinates coordinate piece, we recommend the following care.

Remove Pieces at Night: Don’t sleep with plated jewelry, night sweat, and the extra rubbing against the skin will cause the plating to wear off faster over time. Remove at night to extend the lifecycle of your custom piece.

Store with Similar Items: Do not put away gold plating and silver plating together. The different metals will cause each other to tarnish, fade and/or turn colors. Have different storage places for different colors of metals. It is best to store in a dry area. Your bathroom is not an ideal place as the humidity thins the plating.

Clean with Care: Plating is much more delicate than pure metals. Do not use any chemicals to clean ANY plated item. Chemicals will fade the plating. This is my most common problem with items fading.

Do Not Swim with your piece on: Pools, Jacuzzis and hot tubs contain chlorine and muriatic acid which will discolor or corrode metal wear all conspire to affect the surface of your item. Saltwater will also affect the plating.

Avoid Abrasive Contact: Contact with hard surfaces such as metal to metal contact (more than one chain or bracelet at a time) or rubbing on a tabletop can wear through the plating surface. 

Avoid Extreme conditions: Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, soap, lotion, sweating, and high humidity.

Skin Reactions / Wear and Tear: Some people are allergic to the base metal and might break out in a rash, which usually goes away after a day. If you know you are allergic to brass, bronze, copper or any other metal inquire about base metal before purchasing any plated jewelry.
